All-numeric LinkedIn profile identifiers are now rejected as invalid, preventing bad links from weakening identity checks.
Why it matters
- LinkedIn vanity-name validation treats numeric-only values as malformed profile identifiers.
- Fraud Detection can report the link problem directly instead of attempting to analyze an invalid profile.
