Introducing the FraudShield Chrome Extension
Recruiters told us they were spending an enormous amount of time toggling between LinkedIn and other services just to verify whether candidates were real. As AI-generated resumes, fabricated profiles, and identity fraud become more common, that verification burden only grows.
We built FraudShield inside Endorsed to do that investigation automatically. Now it is also available as a free Chrome extension that works directly inside the ATS.
Candidate-Fraud Detection Where Recruiters Work
The extension installs in seconds and reads the candidate page already open in the browser. There is no ATS integration to configure before a recruiter can run a check.
FraudShield uses AI to verify identity — checking resumes, social profiles, phones, emails, external databases, and more to spot fakes before interviews or at any step of the funnel. The goal is simple: surface the signal you'd be hunting for manually, in the place you're already working.
Recruiters can use the free extension for individual checks. Advanced Endorsed plans add bulk fraud review, ATS cleansing, compliance records, and analytics.
Privacy Built In
We designed the extension to be conservative with data from day one:
- No candidate data retention beyond short-lived debug logs
- Minimal Chrome permissions
- We don't train AI on your data by default

A Clear Result With Supporting Evidence
Candidates receive a risk level, and reviewers can open the supporting signal categories to understand why the result was produced. That context matters: one unusual signal is not enough to establish fraud, and legitimate candidates should not be rejected because of a black-box verdict.
