FraudShield Extension Adds Check History and Auto-Check Controls

Recruiters using the FraudShield extension gave us two clear pieces of feedback: waiting on a candidate page slowed the workflow, and automatic checks needed to be easier to control.

This update addresses both.

Checks Now Finish in the Background

A FraudShield check keeps running when a recruiter leaves the candidate page. The result is available when they return, so an investigation no longer has to interrupt the rest of the review queue.

Private Check History

The extension now keeps a history of completed checks locally on the user's device. Recruiters can revisit a recent result without submitting the same candidate again.

The history is private to that browser and is not a new shared repository of candidate data.

An Auto-Check Toggle

Free users can choose whether FraudShield runs automatically as they move through candidate pages. Turning Auto-Check off prevents an unwanted check from consuming a credit; turning it on creates a more seamless review flow.

These changes make the extension faster to use while giving every recruiter explicit control over when a fraud check runs.
