How Life360 stopped applicant fraud across 25,000 monthly applications

Company Overview
Life360 is the leading family safety app, helping millions of families stay connected. As inbound applicant volume grew into the tens of thousands per month, the talent acquisition team needed a way to keep up with legitimate candidates while defending against an escalating wave of applicant fraud.
The Challenge
In Q3 of 2025, Life360's recruiting team was drowning in applicant volume — 10,000 to 25,000 applicants per month across their open roles.
Compounding that issue, more than 50% of candidates on many roles were fraudulent. Recruiters would identify a great candidate to advance, only to realize during an interview that it was not the person they thought it was.
While this wasted significant team time, it also created a security risk. As a mitigation, each recruiter was spending hours per week manually checking LinkedIn profiles and resumes for fraud signals. Even that was not enough to catch the more sophisticated fraudsters.
Once a fraudster nearly made it to an offer, it became clear that the team needed dedicated fraud protection in their toolset.
The Solution
Life360 deployed Endorsed's AI Applicant Review platform with automated fraud detection, alongside the FraudShield Chrome extension. Initial integration took five minutes to connect, with onboarding completed one week later.
The AI applicant reviewer enabled the team to surface top real candidates instantly, reducing time-to-fill and boosting quality-of-hire by helping Life360 make offers before competitors.
FraudShield's risk scores inside the Endorsed platform let the team efficiently filter fake candidates out at the applicant stage, while the Chrome extension extended fraud evaluation down-funnel, from interview through offer, to strengthen security.
"This tool is saving me so much time not having to interview all these fakes! I don't have any fake interviews anymore."

FraudShield evaluates hundreds of fraud signals, including phone, email, identity, resume metadata, address, identity mismatches, and behavioral signals.
The result: it became rare for recruiters to interview fraudsters, and the team became more confident extending offers without introducing a new insider threat.
The Proof Point
The most powerful validation came when Life360 tested Endorsed against that same fraudster that almost made it to offer.
"We had a candidate make it all the way to offer before we realized they were fraudulent—and that recruiter wasn't using Endorsed yet. When we ran that same candidate through Endorsed, it flagged them immediately. That was the moment we knew we needed Endorsed on every recruiter's screen."

Based on their success, Life360 signed a two-year expansion and deployed Endorsed to their full recruiting team.
They evaluated other ATS-native fraud detection solutions, but chose to stay with Endorsed's purpose-built solution to maximize fraud protection and AI-driven efficiency.
Results
After deployment across the recruiting team, Life360 reported:

- Fraudulent interviews dramatically reduced across high-volume roles
- Greater confidence at the offer stage and reduced insider-threat risk
- More recruiter capacity available for engaging legitimate candidates
- A two-year expansion to deploy Endorsed across the full recruiting team
